Christianity is the third most followed religion and India and the spices played a very key role in bringing and spreading this religion across the country.

The Portuguese followed by Dutch, French and finally the British that came in search of spices colonised South India, built some of the most beautiful churches and cathedrals to help spread Christianity in South India and until today in the States of Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Pondicherry, Christmas is celebrated with grandeur and a feast is prepared with spicy meat and seafood highlighting the menu and a delicious spiced cake for dessert showcasing the European influences on Indian cooking.

Chef Kanthi brings you the ‘The Spice of Christmas’ to Brighton and Hove at the award winning V and H Cafe holland road by creating a very special menu comprising of dishes that are prepared in India during this holiday season.

Dates- 15th and 16th of December

£27 per person for a 4-course meal plus glass of cava on arrival and nibbles.

Small wine and craft beer list by Butlers Wine Cellar is available on the day to purchase.
